Local Work

Just as Christ cared for the poor, sick, and lost, we believe it is our duty to do the same. As the town of Buckeye grows it is our hope to build an alliance with community organizations and other churches such that we can provide assistance to hurting neighbors. We support the local food bank, participate in city projects and events, and meet with organizations like the police department to discover how we can help out in our community.

As our nation becomes even more diverse, it becomes increasingly important to get involved in local outreach. We support stateside workers who present the Good News of Christ to specific populations.

Weekly Memo Verse

The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba recognized that Samuel was attested as a prophet of the Lord. The Lord continued to appear at Shiloh, and there he revealed himself to Samuel through his word. And Samuel's word came to all Israel.

1 Samuel 3:19-21
